The Baymax! series is created and written by animation filmmaker Don Hall (Winnie the Pooh, Big Hero 6, Moana, Raya and the Last Dragon). It is produced by Roy Conli and Bradford Simonsen. Directors of the series include Dean Wellins (Eps 1, 2, 6), Lissa Treiman (Ep 3), Dan Abraham (Ep 4) and Mark Kennedy (Ep 5). The screenwriter is Cirocco Dunlap. Baymax! will stream on Disney+ on June 29, 2022.
Creator Don Hall said that in each of the six episodes, Baymax just wants to help someone – and a lot of times they don’t want to be helped.” Baymax was originally introduced in the Big Hero 6 movie (2014), which is loosely based on the Marvel comics of the same name by Man of Action.
