Keep Breathing 2022
Keep Breathing is a survival drama limited series created and written by Martin Gero and Brendan Gall for Netflix. It is executive produced by Gero, Gall, and Maggie Kiley. The series will consist of six episodes, and is scheduled to premiere on July 28, 2022.
Formerly known as Breathe, it was given a series order in February 2021. Maggie Kiley joined the series as executive producer and director of the first three episodes in June 2021. The series was retitled Keep Breathing in June 2022.
Mexican actress and singer Melissa Barrera (age 32) portrays Liv. Barrera is known for the series Club de Cuervos and Vida. Barrera earned praise for her starring role as Vanessa in the 2021 musical drama film In the Heights, which is based on the Lin-Manuel Miranda stage musical. She also starred in the slasher horror film Scream (2022), and will reprise the role in the upcoming film Scream 6 (2023).
