Katie Belle (age 19) of Atlanta, Georgia was such a looker that judge Luke Bryan “collapsed” to the floor after touching her hand and had Katy Perry singing “I kissed a girl and I liked it.”
The part-time model was drop dead gorgeous that the ‘American Idol’ judges felt they were obliged to bring her to Hollywood because it was obvious she belonged there.
When she walked in the room, the ‘American Idol’ judges already praised her looks. Katy described her as a “supermodel” while Luke Bryan dubbed her as the “Gisele of Georgia”, referring to supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Lionel could only agree and said it was a compliment.
Asked what she’s doing for work, Katie Belle said she does a bit of modeling but “beauty fades.”
Katie sang Jennifer Hudson’s version of “Golden Slumbers” by The Beatles for her audition, her sweet voice complementing her stunning looks.
And while she sang, Luke Bryan couldn’t even get himself to look at her. When he was asked by Katy Perry to comment, he didn’t give any.
Lionel said Katie’s sound needs to be developed and added “but I love who you are.” He gave her a “Yes.”
Katy Perry said Katie Belle needs to work on her voice though she definitely has a style, “very sweet” and could be like a little Stevie Nicks.
Lionel probed whether Katie performs anywhere and Luke commented “Does it matter, Lionel?”
Katy Perry finally put her foot down and told her co-judges, “Listen, let’s just bring her to Los Angeles, she’s gonna be a star in some way. Like it will be just nice to know that we helped do that.”
Turning to Katie Belle, she said, “I mean, whether you wanna be a singer, an actress, a model, you’re destined for this world. You’re going to Hollywood and you’re gonna be booked.”

Katie Belle was crying as she thanked and approached the judges to shake their hands. When she touched Luke Bryan’s hand, he pretended to collapse on the floor.
While Luke was on the floor and Katie Bell left the room, Katy Perry raised her hand and said, “I kissed a girl and I liked it.”
