On Week 9 (December 11, 2019) of The Masked Singer (Season 2), “Thingamajig” was unmasked and thereby eliminated from the competition, after his performance on the 11th episode.
Thingamajig performed “Winter Wonderland” by Bing Crosby during episode 11.
Since Thingamajig was voted OUT, he was obliged to unmask and reveal his true identity.
So who is Thingamajig on The Masked Singer Season 2 (2019)?
Turned out, Thingamajig is none other than Victor Oladipo, an American professional basketball player for the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.

Victor Oladipo is an American professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s Indiana Pacers. He played college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers, where in the 2012-2013 season he was named the Sporting News Men’s College Basketball Player of the Year, the Co-NABC Defensive Player of the Year, and a first-team All-American by the USBWA and Sporting News. That year he was also named the winner of the Adolph Rupp Trophy, given annually to the top player in men’s NCAA Division I basketball.
Victor Oladipo was drafted with the second overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic and went on to be named to the NBA All-Rookie first team. He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016, and then traded to the Pacers in 2017. He became a first-time NBA All-Star, led the league in steals, was named to the All-Defensive First Team and the All-NBA Third Team, and won the NBA Most Improved Player Award in his first season with Indiana. Despite an injury-riddled 2018–19 season, including a season-ending injury in January 2019, Oladipo was named an Eastern Conference All-Star reserve for the second straight year. Oladipo was also a contestant in season two of The Masked Singer, dressed as the ‘Thingamajig’. He was eliminated in the semifinals, along with Seal.
The second season of The Masked Singer premiered on September 25, 2019, following a “special sneak peek” on September 15, 2019. Singer-songwriter Robin Thicke, television personality Jenny McCarthy, actor and comedian Ken Jeong, and recording artist Nicole Scherzinger returned as judges. Nick Cannon once again returned as host.
Sixteen celebrities compete anonymously in newly created full-bodied costumes including distinctive masks. Before each performance a video package teases clues to their identity with the celebrity narrating aspects of their biography in a disguised voice. After each performs in their own voice, the panel attempts to guess who is the masked singer. The contestants are later voted on to see who is safe and continues, or is up for a further round of singing in that episode, and possibly elimination.
Singer-songwriter Robin Thicke, television personality Jenny McCarthy, actor and comedian Ken Jeong, and recording artist Nicole Scherzinger returned as panelists. Nick Cannon once again returned as host. Anthony Anderson was a guest panelist on episode six, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog (Robert Smigel) was a guest panelist on episode seven, Joel McHale was a guest panelist on episodes eight and nine, and Season 1 winner T-Pain was a guest panelist on episode ten.
