Andrea and Irene (age 31), twins originally from Lima, Peru who call themselves Double Dragon, performed “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls during the Auditions round on America’s Got Talent 2020 (Season 15).
The twins, whose day job is in customer service, said they came on the show because they think they are more than singers. They consider themselves as performers who like to make people happy.
Double Dragon’s energetic performance drew thunderous applause and a standing ovation from the audience. They got a new fan in AGT host Terry Crews, who was shown jumping backstage as they performed, and even gave the twins a flying kiss. He exclaimed, “That was perfect!”
The twins were shaking and crying as they said their thanks to the crowd after their performance.
America’s Got Talent judges gave Double Dragon 4 yes votes, advancing them to the next round of the competition.

“It’s Raining Men” was released in September 1982 as the lead single from American musical duo The Weather Girls’ third studio album Success (1983). The song was a number-one dance hit in the United States, and reached the top ten in various other countries worldwide. VH1 listed the song as one of the Greatest Songs of the 1980s and also as one of the Greatest Songs of the 2000s decade. “It’s Raining Men” received a nomination at the 26th Annual Grammy Awards (1983) for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.

Sofia Vergara thought the Double Dragon twins were amazing. “I love to see two Latina girls having fun on that stage. I mean it was fun. It was like full of energy.”
Simon Cowell said he loved their reaction as much as he loved their performance.
All of the judges gave their “Si” (Yes) votes for the Double Dragon twins.
