The Kid Detective tells the story of Abe Applebaum (Adam Brody), a once-celebrated kid detective, now 31, who continues to solve the same trivial mysteries between hangovers and bouts of self-pity. Until a naïve client (Sophie Nélisse) brings him his first ‘adult’ case – to find out who brutally murdered her boyfriend.
This comedy-drama film is written and directed by Evan Morgan. It is Morgan’s feature directorial debut after helming the short films The Pedestrian Jar and A Pretty Funny Story.
