New Order 2021
New Order is a 2020 Mexican-French art dystopian thriller film written, directed, produced and edited by Michel Franco. The film follows an upper class couple in Mexico City whose wedding is invaded by rioters amidst a nationwide working class uprising. The film stars Naian Gonzalez Norvind, Diego Boneta and Mónica Del Carmen.
The film had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on 10 September 2020. where it won the Grand Jury Prize. It was released in Mexico on 22 October 2020, by Videocine.
