Before she was unmasked, the Jellyfish peformed “Stay” by Rihanna ft Mikky Ekko, and lost to the Mushroom for a chance to get to the finale.
Some fans of The Masked Singer already guessed who the Jellyfish was prior to her unmasking.
So who is the Jellyfish on The Masked Singer?
Jellyfish was revealed as Olympic Gold Medalist snowboarder Chloe Kim. Among the judges / panelists, Ken Jeong and guest panelist Craig Robinson made the right guess. Chloe is the third Masked Singer that Ken guessed right this season, after Squiggly Monster and Whatchamacallit.
Robin Thicke‘s first impression guess was American social media personality, dancer and actress Addision Rae. He later changed his guess to artistic gymnast and Olympic medalist Gabby Douglas.
Jenny McCarthy thought at first that Jellyfish was English actress Daisy Ridley of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, because of the lightsaber clue. But she changed her guess to American retired artistic gymnast McKayla Maroney, because of the gymnast clues.
Nicole Scherzinger‘s first impression guess was American model and fashion designer Sofia Richie. But based on the clues like Paris, Eiffel Tower, and French Canadian, Nicole changed her guess to musician and record producer Grimes.
Ken Jeong‘s initial guess was American actress, model and activist Yara Shahidi. He changed his guess to Chloe Kim, saying he admires her and that she’s a national hero who won her Olympic gold medal at age 17.
Guest panelist Craig Robinson said that Jellyfish spoke like a champion and agreed with Ken that Jellyfish could be Chloe Kim.

Chloe said her whole experience on The Masked Singer was just so amazing for her. She revealed that she never performed in front of anyone before, and said the panelists gave her confidence after each week. She said it was a fun experience to put herself out there and be vulnerable and she really appreciated it.
Clues about the Jellyfish were explained after the reveal. The tic-tac-toe board with four X’s is a clue to Chloe being a 4-time X-Games Gold Medalist. The gold throne with gold pipes is a hint to her Olympic gold medal win for the half pipe. The angelfish is a nod to Chloe’s cameo in the 2019 film “Charlie’s Angels.”
Chloe also explained her “missed connection” with Ken Jeong. She said that after watching Ken’s funny YouTube video, she sent him a direct message (dm) on Instagram but he didn’t even read it. “I did not even get a seen,” said Chloe, who revealed the dm was still unseen after two years.
Chloe Kim (age 20) became the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal when she won gold in the women’s snowboard halfpipe at 17 years old during the 2018 Winter Olympics. She is the first woman to win two gold medals in snowboarding at the Winter Youth Olympic Games and is the current World, Olympic, Youth Olympic, and X Games champion in the halfpipe. She is the first to win the title at all four major events.
