For the past decade, Dexter has been living a quiet, isolated life far away from the temptations of his past. Dexter: New Blood is an American cr–e drama mystery miniseries that will serve as a revival of the original series. It is set ten years after the events of the original eighth-season finale, which was broadcast in 2013.

Dexter Season 9
Dexter aired on Showtime from October 2006, to September 2013. The series centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a forensic technician specializing in b—dstain pattern analysis for the fictional Miami Metro Police Department. He leads a secret parallel life as a vigilante serial k—er, hunting down m—-rers who have not been punished by the justice system due to corruption or legal technicalities. The first season was derived from the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter, the first in a series of novels by Jeff Lindsay. It was adapted for television by James Manos Jr.. Subsequent seasons evolved independently of Lindsay’s works.
In October 2020, it was announced that Dexter would return with a 10-episode limited series titled Dexter: New Blood. Michael C. Hall would reprise the title role, with Clyde Phillips as showrunner. Dexter Season 9 is slated to premiere on Showtime on November 7, 2021.
