Law & Order Season 21 Episode 8
Law & Order is an American police procedural and legal drama television series created by Dick Wolf and produced by Wolf Entertainment, launching the Law & Order franchise. It is the second longest-running drama series in the history ot television, next only to its spin-off Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999-present). Airing its entire run on NBC, Law & Order premiered on September 13, 1990, and completed its twentieth and initially final season on May 24, 2010. On September 28, 2021 the series was renewed for a 21st season, which premiered on February 24, 2022 on NBC.
The series will continue the classic two-part or bifurcated format that was created for its original run. The first half-hour is the investigation of a c–me and apprehension of a suspect by New York City Police Department detectives; the second half is the prosecution of the defendant by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
