Love Wedding Repeat was announced in April 2019, with Olivia Munn, Sam Claflin, Freida Pinto and Eleanor Tomlinson in the cast. Filming took place in Italy the succeeding month.

American actress Olivia Munn portrays the role of Dina. Munn began her career in TV journalism before becoming an actress. She appeared in the series Beyond the Break in 2006, and co-hosted Attack of the Show! from 2006 to 2010. She was also a correspondent on The Daily Show from 2010 to 2011. Her film credits include Magic Mike (2012), Deliver Us from Evil (2014), Mortdecai (2015), X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), and as the voice of Koko in The Lego Ninjago Movie.
