Johannes Stötter (aka Johannes Stoetter) , a professional artist known for his work in body painting, took to the Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) stage with an incredibly powerful message – that “the future of the oceans depends on us”.
Stötter’s brilliant artwork showing sea creatures painted on the bodies of his models, brought his message to life beautifully during the Auditions round on Britain’s Got Talent 2020 (Series 14). The judges and the audience were amazed at how he can transform the human body into a dazzling piece of art.
The judges gave Johannes Stoetter a standing ovation for his outstanding work. They gave him 4 YES votes, advancing him to the next level of the competition.

Britain’s Got Talent (aka BGT) is a televised British talent show competition, and part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. It is hosted by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (also known as Ant and Dec), and produced by both Thames (formerly Talkback Thames) and Syco Entertainment, distributed by Fremantle, and broadcast on ITV every year. The show premiered on June 9, 2007 following the success of America’s Got Talent the previous year.
Every year, contestants of any age can audition for the contest with whatever talent they wish to demonstrate. Auditionees seek to impress a panel of judges – at present, consisting of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams – in order to secure a place in the live rounds of BGT. The winner gets a cash prize and a place within that year’s performances for the Royal Variety Performance before members of the British Royal Family.
Britain’s Got Talent 2020 (Season 14) will air in two parts, the first in April 2020 with pre-recorded audition episodes, while the second containing the live rounds to be aired at a later date. The series was split into two parts because of the Covid-19 pandemic or coronavirus outbreak and the resulting lockdown issued by the British government.
