Magical Bones (age 37), a talented street magician, performed an incredible magic act that baffled and amazed everyone.
The audition started with a close-up card trick with Simon Cowell choosing a card and marking it. Magical Bones mixed it with the other cards in the deck, and picked out Simon’s card in a grand style. He threw all the cards in the air and caught one card while doing a backflip. Of course, the card turned out to be Simon’s card.
But that was just the beginning of Magical Bones’ act. Next, he presented the story of the man who inspired him to be a magician – Henry “Box” Brown, an 1800s magician who escaped to freedom by hiding in a small wooden box. It was a nice intro to Magical Bones’ main trick – a box ecape mixed with teleportation or person switching which stunned everyone.
Magical Bones’ audition earned him a standing ovation from the audience and from BGT judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and David Walliams. Meanwhile Ant and Dec, like the rest of BGT fans, are left wondering how Magical Bones did it. As expected, Magical Bones got 4 yes votes from the BGT judges.

Britain’s Got Talent (aka BGT) is a televised British talent show competition, and part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. It is hosted by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (also known as Ant and Dec), and produced by both Thames (formerly Talkback Thames) and Syco Entertainment, distributed by Fremantle, and broadcast on ITV every year. The show premiered on June 9, 2007 following the success of America’s Got Talent the previous year.
Every year, contestants of any age can audition for the contest with whatever talent they wish to demonstrate. Auditionees seek to impress a panel of judges – at present, consisting of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams – in order to secure a place in the live rounds of BGT. The winner gets a cash prize and a place within that year’s performances for the Royal Variety Performance before members of the British Royal Family.
On average, Britain’s Got Talent draws 9.9 million viewers per series. A spin-off titled Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, featuring the same judges and hosts, was later produced and broadcast in 2019, following the success of the American edition’s spin-off America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Britain’s Got Talent is contracted to run until 2024.
Britain’s Got Talent 2020 (Season 14) will air in two parts, the first in April 2020 with pre-recorded audition episodes, while the second containing the live rounds to be aired at a later date. The series was split into two parts because of the Covid-19 pandemic or coronavirus outbreak and the resulting lockdown issued by the British government.
